👋 Who we are
We’re The Good Influence, the social first creative agency with a conscience. We help brands grow in a way that feels good - for people, culture, and the planet. Powering brands with social that stops the scrolls, but still has a soul.

Good Influence is in our name, but also in our nature. We exist to build brands and communities but also to give back; we donate 1% of our revenue to 1% for the Planet, supporting The Felix Project as well as being a climate positive business through On A Mission.
👀 The Role
We’re looking for an experienced and strategic Social Media Manager to cover maternity leave on one of our largest and most dynamic beauty clients in the UK and North America. The role is both creative and analytical, overseeing all aspects of organic social strategy and execution across both markets.
You’ll be the day-to-day lead and client contact for all organic social activity, responsible for planning, briefing, approving and optimising content, managing shoots, reporting on performance, and ensuring all social activity ladders up to business and brand goals.
This role suits someone who blends creativity with commercial and strategic acumen - equally at home concepting content ideas as they are analysing performance data or managing budgets.
🎨 What you'll be doing:
Client Management & Collaboration
Act as the main day-to-day client contact for all organic social matters.
Lead communication for client projects or accounts, share results and collate error-free collaboration documents that meet client expectations.
Manage the quality of client deliverables, ensuring adherence to brand and project guidelines.
Work closely with the Business Director to ensure delivery within agreed scopes of work, budgets and timelines.
Represent the organic social team in cross-functional conversations, ensuring consistency and collaboration across channels.

Lead the long-term organic social strategy, content calendars and channel strategies for Weleda UK & US
Translate brand and business objectives into actionable social media strategies by curating and introducing culturally resonant trends.
Facilitate planning sessions and support creative teams with insight-driven input.
Identify opportunities for experimentation, platform innovation and trend adoption - while maintaining brand integrity.
Brief & collaborate with design, influencer, or editorial teams on content purpose, tone, story arc, and audience relevance to create fresh, authentic, and effective social-first creative.
Balance trend-led inspiration with original thinking to ensure campaigns feel fresh, not formulaic.
Lead scheduling quality and tool usage across accounts or projects.
Implement improvements to publishing workflows and tool organisation.
Keep the team informed of platform updates, new features, or bugs.
Identify opportunities for experimentation, platform innovation and trend adoption - while maintaining brand integrity.
Partner closely with influencer, paid and strategic teams to ensure cohesion across all social touchpoints
Direct and oversee shoots across various formats (high-production studio, lo-fi, live, or location-based) and manage all shoot requirements, including planning, crew, talent, and asset delivery.
Ensure all content is optimised for platform best practice and aligned with brand guidelines, while encouraging creative experimentation.
Work collaboratively with design, production and social executive teams to deliver social-first creative that feels fresh, authentic and effective.
Community & Engagement
Oversee community activity across all channels, ensuring consistency, quality, and responsiveness.
Lead engagement efforts during campaign moments, product drops, or real-time cultural events.
Write and refine tone of voice guidelines, including reactive playbooks and escalation protocols.
Performance & Reporting
Own the reporting process for all organic activity - from weekly updates to quarterly reviews.
Track performance against KPIs and use insights to inform future strategy and creative.
Stay abreast of emerging trends, audience behaviours and platform updates, and share learnings with both client and internal teams.
Build insight-led post-campaign analysis that provides actionable recommendations.
Work with strategy and design to inform ideas using platform and audience data.
Set up performance experiments (e.g., A/B testing) and advocate for innovation when results are flat.
Leadership & Mentorship
Line-manage and mentor the Social Media Executive with clarity and empathy, supporting their development and day-to-day work.
Champion best practice in social media across the agency, sharing insights and inspiration regularly.
🔍 Who we're looking for:
4-5 years’ experience in social media management, either agency-side or brand-side.
Proven experience leading organic social strategy and execution for a beauty or skincare brand.
Strong understanding of social-first content production and trends across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and beyond.
Experience directing shoots in varied environments - studio, lifestyle, event and real-world contexts.
Comfortable balancing creative ambition with practical production constraints and budgets.
Excellent communication and client-facing skills - able to translate strategy into action and nurture trusted relationships.
